Can my OVI charge become a conviction if I was never actually "arrested"?
In cases where there has been an accident or serious bodily injury the State can get a warrant for your blood. If they didn't get a warrant they would need to get an grand jury subpoena to obtain this information. You may be charged with an intoxication crime. You need to speak with someone in your area that specializes in DWI's.
